Denmark by Grodan in 1969. The product today is used extensively
in hydroponics systems world wide. In North America the majority
of greenhouse vegetables are grown in Rockwool

Rockwool pads are pre-formed cubes
of rockwool connected to form a pad. You can cut individual
cubes or strips of cubes for use in conventional or hydroponic
gardening methods. Great for rooting seedlings or clones.

You can write on the plastic wrapping, allowing for easier identification
